Palm Kernel Expeller (PKE) is a by-product of extracting oil from the kernel of the oil palm fruit. After palm oil is processed, the kernel is crushed to produce palm kernel oil, leaving behind a dry, fibrous material known as PKE. It is primarily used as a nutritious and cost-effective feed for livestock, especially cattle, due to its high protein and fiber content. Additionally, PKE can serve as a fertilizer or be used for biofuel production, making it an eco-friendly solution by repurposing what would otherwise be waste.
